Johnny Burke: Welcome to Closer to Venus. I’m Johnny Burke, and today’s guest is Alejandra Brady. She is an interior designer, a professional member of the International Feng Shui Guild, an author of, I Just Can’t Make the Shit Up, overcoming Fear and Accepting My Spiritual Gifts. In this episode, we’ll discuss her spiritual journey, as well as how she finally accepted these gifts that she has. Alejandra, welcome to the program.
Alejandra Brady: Hi. It’s so nice to see you. Thank you for having me.
Johnny Burke: So, speaking of your spiritual journey where you finally connected the dots to the gifts that you have, how did that happen and at what point did it happen?
Alejandra Brady: The main connection started happening as I was writing my book. As a child, I had these things that were happening to me, but I just kind of thought they happened to everybody, so I didn’t realize that maybe I was a little different. but as I was writing the book then memory started coming back and I was able to start connecting and going, oh my gosh, okay, this happened. Oh, then this happened, then this happened. These things are all related to each other versus just individual events. And that’s how I had always viewed them in the past. I just kind of thought it was, something that happened and I moved on. I didn’t realize it was all connected.
Johnny Burke: What kind of events were they?
Alejandra Brady: So, one of the first things that I can remember is when I was, 16, and that’s the first one that I have memory of. I happen to feel now that it probably started earlier, and I just didn’t even realize what was happening. I was able to communicate with people who’ve passed so. Unfortunately, my first event that I can really remember, is sad because my boyfriend died in a car accident overnight and while I was in bed that night.
And just to set the timeframe for people so that they can understand that I wasn’t on Twitter, I wasn’t on Facebook or anything. This is 1984 and I was 16, and I was not allowed to have a television or a phone in my room, which were the only two modes of communication at the time, and my parents just didn’t allow it.
So in the middle of the night, he showed up. I will preface this by saying my parents didn’t let me go that day, so I was supposed to be in that car- I was the fourth person that was supposed to be in that car, and for absolutely no reason, I wasn’t grounded. I wasn’t anything. My parents just said, no. I pitched a fit and I went to bed, and he showed up in the middle of the night fully dressed. I can tell you what he was wearing. I can tell you everything. I could see him, I could hear him, I could smell him, and he came to say goodbye. And so, I just said goodbye.
Then I got up that morning, it was a Sunday morning going into Monday, so I was going to go to school the next day. I was a junior in high school, and I walked into my parents’ bedroom and as I walked in, my mother is on the phone, you know, it’s the old-fashioned receiver’s attached cord, and her face is all red and you can tell that she’s crying. And I just looked at her and I said all this in Spanish because we spoke a lot of Spanish in our house. It is my first language to this day. And I just said,” I don’t want to go to school. “She just looked at me and you know, she said:”porque?”, which just means why? And I just said, “because so and so died, you know, last night, and I’m sad. I don’t want to go to school.”
And she just looked at me, I go” he died, right? “And she goes, “yes, he died.” And I’m like, okay, I don’t want to go to school. She goes, you don’t have to go to school. So, I just went back to my room and waited for her to get off the phone. Then she came in and, you know, told me what had happened. Because I didn’t know what had happened, but I knew he was gone.
I didn’t think about that for years and years afterwards until our son was little. My husband and I have a son who’s now almost 30, and I used to use it as a drunk driving example because it was a drunk driving accident. My boyfriend was a passenger, but unfortunately his brother was driving, and it was just a couple of beers, but it was late. His brother’s girlfriend and my boyfriend at the time, they all died. My boyfriend’s brother was in a coma for 20 years, so basically. he never came out of it. The girlfriend was thrown through the windshield and then my boyfriend lost an arm and bled out on the side of the road while help came because it was a one car accident. So, everybody in that car was gone. And the only reason I wasn’t was because my parents at the very last minute said, absolutely not. You’re not going.
So I used that as an example for my son for drunk driving. Not so much for the fact that he came to me, but the story was always alive because of that. So as I started to write the book that kind of started flooding back, I’m like, oh, so maybe the really weird part of the story is the fact that I could see him and talk to him,not the drunk driving part.
Johnny Burke: And not to dwell on morbid events, but when you said goodbye to him, he was there to say goodbye. Were you fully awake or conscious, or did it feel like a dream?
Alejandra Brady: It felt like he was in the room with me, like he literally just got transported and was standing in the room at the foot of my bed. So fast forward over the years, other people have come to me and they’re always at the foot of my bed, so that seems to be where it happens for me. So, he was just standing at the foot of my bed and talking to me, saying goodbye.
Johnny Burke: Okay.
Alejandra Brady: And I just said goodbye. I feel I was awake. I mean, I don’t know what state we’re in when these visitations happen. It’s not dreaming. It’s definitely not a state of dreaming that we’re in when we have a visitation.there is a difference between a dream when you’re astral traveling and when you’re getting a visitation. They all feel very different to me at least. Then sometimes people have come, and I feel them touch me. You know, I’ve been hugged at night, I’ve had people talk to me at night, and that freaks you out and wakes you up. I know it’s not a dream because I physically feel someone touching me.
So it happens all sorts of different ways. And again, I just kind of thought that happened, you know, to most people or I didn’t think it was weird. My mom never said, well, that’s weird. Like she, we just went about it. I did ask to go see his mom, and I did tell her what he said to me, and that becomes important because that is what I’ve understood now to be one of my gifts. My gift is not to interpret it, and it’s usually not for me. It’s for me to tell whoever needs to know that it happened, and that they’re okay.
Johnny Burke: ,By definition, being able to communicate with those who passed over, that’s usually called a medium, but you don’t really brand yourself or describe yourself as a medium, even though you that ability. What are your thoughts about that?
Alejandra Brady: That’s correct. I’ve chosen not to, at least for now, I feel that my strongest gift is to be able to work that way through your home, if that makes sense. I can go in and read your home’s energy, and your home can talk to me and tell me what’s going on. I’m certified in feng shui, so I’ve had training. . And I’m certified in biophilic design, and I have over 20 years as an interior designer as well. I’m also, certified in Oracle Mastery. I do understand those gifts. And sometimes if a client is willing and I do get a very strong message while I’m in their space, I will ask them if they’re open to receive.
But for now, I just feel I work better with people through their homes. That may change. I no longer say never to anything, and maybe at some point it does transition to full mediumship. But right now, I really love working with people’s spaces. So, I feel that is my calling at this point in time. And the book and sharing my story, those are the avenues I’m, focusing on because. You can’t do all of it and do it well. Like you kind of have to home in on what you feel are your strongest and what you are feeling your purpose is at this time. And my purpose still is through people’s space.
Johnny Burke: Now speaking of purpose, You described yourself at one point as having an emergence as a lightworker. Was that around the same time in your teens or was it later?
Alejandra Brady: Oh no, that was all much later. That’s again, as I was writing the book and as I was working with healers who were the ones that told me that I was a lightworker, when my spiritual journey kind of started, I didn’t have any terminology. I didn’t understand what was happening to me. I didn’t understand, what a lot of these words meant when I was working with healers. I didn’t even really know the clairs ; clairaudient, clairvoyant, clairsentient, all those. As I was working with different healers and as I was explaining what was happening to me and what my abilities were, like the mediumship, you know, then they were the ones that started explaining to me that that is called being a light worker. That we are here to shed light, on other people’s lives and to the world, and to bring up the energy of the world, through what we do.
And so that’s why I’m most comfortable doing that with your space. I can go into an empty room and see it done, five different ways. I can also go into a home and tell you, without you ever saying a word to me, I can tell you what’s going on in the majority of the inhabitants of the home, if someone has health issues, if someone’s struggling financially, if there’s relationships issues, I can see all that through your home.
Johnny Burke: So that’s like interior design on spiritual steroids…
Alejandra Brady: There you go.
Johnny Burke: You’re going well beyond the typical boundaries , but I think it is really interesting. Oracle Mastery. How did you get interested in that and how does that figure in your spiritual skillset?
Alejandra Brady: So that came to me when I was in Sedona. I very much relied on intuition and on other people suggesting things to me as I was going through my journey and my journey started at 50, so it hasn’t been that long. It’s been almost seven years, but at the very beginning, a lot was happening and I was feeling very overwhelmed and a lot of my gifts were getting turned on because I was becoming aware of them..
And I found this woman in Sedona. I went to go do a reading with her, and her name is Amanda Romania. She’s amazing. She was one of the three healers who’ve told me that I was Tutankhamun in a previous lifetime, which that can be a whole nother episode. We can go there because I just came back from Egypt and it’s all been validated over and over again. So that was a wild experience. So yes.
Johnny Burke: Would love to hear about that.
Alejandra Brady: Yeah, that’ll take up two hours on its own. It was insane. but when I worked with her. She started to see in me too that I get messages for other people, and so I worked under her to just understand when I get the messages, really, it’s how to interpret the message that I get, but just to interpret it without putting my own spin on it. Because I don’t want to put my preconceived thoughts into the message. Sometimes the messages that I do receive for people don’t make sense to me at all. And my brain, being a Virgo, wants to make sense of it and then tell you the message. And so, what I learned from her was how to interpret it the way it really is coming and not to change that. Because for the person that I’m supposed to give that message to, it’s going to make sense.
Case in point, I just had this happen. We were in Aspen for Father’s Day and both my father and Father-in-Law have passed. My dad’s birthday was Father’s Day, June 16th. My father-in-Law sends us dimes. We just find dimes in the most random places, and we know they’re from him. We’ve been told multiple times. So I found a dime on Father’s Day, so I knew full, full on, my father-in-law was around. We are walking down the side of a mountain, I kid you not- like a side of a mountain and the grass is, you know, yay high, about a foot high everywhere, and I look down and I see something shiny and I pick it up and it’s $4 in quarters. And I’m like, okay, on the side of a mountain. This is wild. So came back. Couldn’t make rhyme or reason. I’m like, okay, $4 doesn’t make sense to me. And then we’re talking to our son and his daughter-in-Law, and I was still trying to rationalize $4, $4 and I couldn’t get my mind out of $4.
And my daughter-in-Law goes, but it’s 16 quarters. Oh my God. That’s what it is. It’s June 16th, 16 quarters -my dad’s birthday. That is why the name of my book is “I just can’t make that shit up” because who’s going to find 16 quarters on the side of a mountain on June 16th, which is Father’s Day and your dad’s birthday?
The stuff that happens. And see, I was trying to interpret one way, and she literally just goes,” it’s 16 quarters.” Like you were trying too hard to figure it out. You just have to take it for what it is. I love that. I love that. And I’m always like spirit guides everyone around me. Council of Light you know, source, God, whatever you call everyone around you bring it on. I love this. It’s so much fun. I love getting signs. I love getting messages, and now, it’s really fun for me.
Johnny Burke: It’s good to know that it’s fun because this type of thing can really scare the wits out of some people,
Alejandra Brady: Well, at the beginning it did. I had to learn, I had to work with healers and learn how to protect myself, learn to say, and I say it every single morning; I am open to all opportunities and gifts the universe has for me to today, however, they must be to my benefit, to the benefit of all involved and only and of the light.
So I do not accept anything that isn’t of the light, and that is one way, and that’s one of the first things that the healers I worked with taught me as we were exploring my spiritual gifts, because I was getting scared. When you start opening up, you’re like the one light in the middle of the dark parking lot- everything can come to it. You have to feel that you are protected in order to move forward. At least I did. I was like, I don’t want any of this if they’re going to scare the crap out of me, keep me awake all night, come in at all hours because that was happening. So I had to learn to set up boundaries, office hours, and say I’m only accepting what is of the light and in everyone’s highest and greatest good.
Johnny Burke: That’s a best practice for all of us. When I come across someone that is interested in coming onto the show and there’s elements of darkness, I don’t fool with it. I know it does exist. I’m not going to deny it.
Let’s go back to the Lightworkers for a moment, because speaking of which, I’m getting a lot of questions and inquiries about people that are here to support Lightworkers. It’s almost as if I could see in the future there’s going to be like Indeed ads for Lightworkers wanted. Seriously, maybe not next month or next year. If it maybe 20, 30 years from now, it’ll be the norm. How do you feel about supporting them? Is that part of your journey ?
Alejandra Brady: I think that’s what I’m here to do. I feel very much that that is my purpose on this planet at this time. My first 50 years were, growing up and dealing with my health journeys and being a mom and being a wife. And then at 50, when our son graduated from college I very intentionally during one of my very first meditations asked, what is my purpose now? I was kind of feeling a little bit lost, and I was healing from cervical fusion. It is kind of interesting for me, especially, I’m fused, my neck is fused. I have six screws and a big plate titanium plate that takes over most of my neck, and I’m fused at my root. So, I’m fused at my throat and at my root, and I have cadaver bones at my throat and at my root, which I just kind of think is fascinating.
I’ve been told now my purpose is to use my voice to help others, right? To use my gifts and use my voice. So, I very sincerely asked, what am I here to do? What’s next for me? My mom role is done. You know, we’re empty nesters, and Archangel Michael is the one that came through in the middle of the meditation, and very clearly in my right ear said, ” you’re going to write a book.” and I just said,” oh, no, thank you. What else you got for me? That doesn’t sound like a purpose I want; I have no interest in this at all. I never wanted to be a writer. I mean, funny enough, one of my degrees from Notre Dame is in journalism and I never used it. And so, 30 years later, here I am using it, but it was just really interesting. And I kept asking for five days in a row. I kept saying no. And he kept coming back and going, you’re going to write a book. I’m like, I, I don’t want to, I don’t want to be doing what we’re doing right now, talking to people. Inherently anyone who knows me would say that I’m shy and kind of introverted. I’m an extroverted introvert, if that makes sense. I need to recharge by myself. I can go be amongst people for a little while, but then I need to come back. And have that quiet downtime because it’s just too much.
I’m highly empathic, so you feel everything going on out there. So I just had no interest in this entire world of putting myself out there whatsoever. But here we are, you know? So this is my purpose, to share this story, to share my stories so that other people going through their journeys don’t feel so alone. I do think it can be a lonely journey at some point when it’s starting. Certainly, when it’s starting. And even now. You’re going to lose friends and some family along the way and you have to trust that that’s okay and then that the people that are going to come into your life instead are going to be more aligned with where you are now.
Johnny Burke: Now, Archangel Michael; how did he come to you? Was it mostly auditory? Were there visuals?
Alejandra Brady: Auditory, completely Auditory, for that one, but it was a very booming man’s voice in my right ear. And so, I just asked, ” who are you”? because I knew I wasn’t hearing things, there wasn’t anything on in the house. I call feng shui my gateway drug to all things spiritual because once I feng shui my own house is when all of this started happening.
I really aligned my house energetically and then all these things and opportunities and, and things like this started happening to me. So, I was in a room. That had a particularly high frequency. When people came into my house and walked into this room, they were like, whoa, what’s going on in here? It feels so good. So, I was in that room doing this meditation he just came through and I just said, “who are you?” And he told me. So that’s, that’s how I know. It wasn’t something I ever worked with before. I grew up Catholic, Latina, Catholic to boot. Archangel Michael wasn’t really a big one for us. And talking about past lives and mediumship and all this stuff is not really something that I was ever around growing up. I did see my mom speaking tongues once and I do speak in light language. I channel the Hathors when I go into light language.
Johnny Burke: You channel.
Alejandra Brady: The Hathors.
Johnny Burke: Can you spell that?
Alejandra Brady: H-A-T-H-O-R-S.
Johnny Burke: Okay. seems to me that we’re uncovering many more spiritual gifts than I originally had anticipated. It’s almost like you’re in the Swiss Army knife category. So, past lives comes up a lot with, as my Australian freinds would say, you lot. The past lives in your journey- you already mentioned one. Were there others ?
Alejandra Brady: I’ve had a lot and I’ve done a couple of regressions and it’s honestly when people ask me what my favorite spiritual modality is, I think it’s that I flippin’ love to do, past life regressions because it answers so many questions to how I am today. I can see the correlations.
Tutankhamun, I think should be its own thing because that is obviously a big one. I had scoliosis as a child and that is what has led to all my fusions. He had scoliosis, and when I first got told, you know, that I was him, I started laughing. And the healer like smacked me down, right on my third eye. And she goes, “when Spirit gives you an answer to a question, this is disrespectful.” and I’m like, ” you probably tell everybody.” And then I started thinking about that and I’m like, well no. I mean, at least as a woman, right, like, wouldn’t you wanna hear you’re Cleopatra? You’re Nefertiti, Isis, not a 19-year-old mangled up, scoliosis ridden boy who as a Pharaoh was never really much of anything. It was because they found his tomb and all that, that he became who he became. It wasn’t really because of his reign. I learned to accept it after a while. So , yeah, that’ll be a fun one to get into at some point.
This one I knew was going to come up. I have been a sorceress in medieval England- light, always light. I have been told that I’ve never come in dark, which is nice to know. I’m very, very old. I’ve actually been told multiple times, this is probably my last go on planet Earth, which I’m okay if that’s the case, hopefully I’ve learned what I need to learn and I can just kind of play from the other side if that’s the case.
Johnny Burke: If you are, you’re lucky. Hopefully you’ll become my spirit guide some point.
Alejandra Brady: We’ll see. I’ve been told that a couple of times now that I’m quite, quite ancient, back to Lemuria, Atlantis and then Egypt.
Johnny Burke: Hold it right there- you’re reading my mind probably, but I was about to ask how far back do your memories go? And, the two civilizations you just mentioned take place before official recorded history. Do you have visuals on some of these lives or what is it like?
Alejandra Brady: Sometimes I see things and I don’t know why I’m seeing them or where it is, like where is this place that keeps coming up in my mind. Sometimes I’m able to find that place for real on planet earth. Sometimes I’m not, so I don’t know if I’m having memories of that or not. The sources in medieval England I see very clearly, and I was hung. And that’s this wound in this lifetime, which I think is fascinating.
King Tut, the scoliosis this lifetime, I have this thing about getting my feet dirty and I just thought it was, you know, OCD and I did a past life regression, and I was just this filthy, filthy little girl living in poverty, on a dirt floor. And I’m like, where am I? And then, the word Pompeii came up and I was not there , for the volcano. It was before the volcano when there was an earthquake. And I was crushed right across my midsection. And I was 11 years old. Like I could see all that as the regression went on and that is when my brace got put on me.
I was 11 years old when my back brace got put on me full time in this lifetime that crushed my whole torso because they were trying to align my spine so that, and because she was filthy, I’m like, oh, that’s where my obsession with not getting my feet dirty comes from. I like that I can correlate things from one to the other.
I’ve had this vision for decades, and thankfully I’ve described this to my husband forever and ever. We’ve been married 34 years, so he’s heard me say this, that I’ve been looking for this place for so long. And we woke up on our trip to Egypt and we were on the river on the Nile cruising down between Luxor and Ash wan, I think that’s what we were at that time. I woke up and looked out our window and I’m like, oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God. And I grabbed my husband. I’m like, that’s what I’ve been describing to you. The closest I’d ever seen was in Scottsdale, Arizona. I would see water, mountains and palm trees and altogether. But I knew exactly what it looked like, and I just hadn’t seen it exactly. And I told him That’s it. That’s it. And it never occurred to me that it would be Egypt, because I don’t think of Egypt as having mountains. But I guess when you’re in the river, Nile Valley, the desert around you has that look. It does look like mountains. That never crossed my mind.
I asked our guide, we had an incredible Egyptologist who was our guide, who’s one of the top ranked in the world and has a bestselling book on life in Egypt before the written word. And we just learned so much. I just said, ” where did King Tutankhamun live? He goes, ‘oh, right around here. Why’d you ask that? ‘And I go,’ just needed to know. Thanks.” I just walked away and went and had breakfast. That’s what I’ve been seeing. We were probably near wherever his palace was and that was what he saw. So, there’s one that I can at least check off the list that I’ve seen in my visions, and my dreams for decades really, that I was finally able to put together with real life and see it.
There’s caves that I’ve seen in other places. There’s beautiful mountains with these like bridges that disappear when after you cross them. I don’t know where those are. I would imagine that is dating back to Lemuria or Atlantis .I haven’t been able to find those in real life.
Johnny Burke: I’ve always been curious about what the ancient civilizations look like. What did the buildings look like, the architecture, what did people wear? Did they all have like crystal lasers, instead of guns or, I know it’s a lot to ask, but
Alejandra Brady: I can’t answer that question because I’ve honestly never been able to see that. I see more of the land, not so much other people. I see spaces like, oh, I lived in this area. The one time I have been able to see other people very, very clearly was back to my sorceress in medieval England. I can tell you like when they dragged me, when they were hanging me, who was watching me hang, and my spirit guide, my main spirit guide, Rufus, was actually my husband or partner in that lifetime. Several of my friends here in Tampa who are very, very high-level healers were in the crowd. I’m like, oh, you were there?
Johnny Burke: You recognize them today?
Alejandra Brady: I recognize them today. They don’t look like they did then, but we recognize each other, and we’re like, oh, you were there. But that’s the only lifetime as of now, with the regressions that I’ve done up to this point where I’ve been able to really, really recognize other people. I can tell you what we’re all wearing there. I was wearing a long white flowing gown with a rope tight around the belt, and I had this crazy long hair down to my waist that was blonde and curly. I’m like, where’s that hair in this lifetime? I could use that, you know? But that one is very, very clear. And the little girl in Pompeii is clear in just the dirt, the dirty, the poverty of it all. That was like what you would imagine. Nobody was walking around with laser beams. That was just very ancient.
Johnny Burke: That was a guess on my part
Alejandra Brady: Yeah. No, it’d be really cool. I just haven’t had that opportunity yet.Doesn’t mean I won’t.
Johnny Burke: No one’s really been able to describe in detail what the life was like there. One woman that was on the show a while back, she tried to make an approximate guess of what the architecture looked like, but there wasn’t so many details, but I’ve always been curious about that. Now, you mentioned spirit guides a moment ago which I’ve been told literally everyone has one and maybe even more than one. What can you tell us about them? What kind of human characteristics do they have if they have them?
Alejandra Brady: Well, it depends. I believe that there are spirit guides who at one point were human and maybe some that are not, but maybe those lean more into like guardian angel or something if they were never human. My main spirit guide is named Rufus because he told me, I asked him for his name. He has long flowing red hair. He was a warrior in one of his lifetimes. He said he would come to me whenever I see dragons or dragonflies. Especially when I’m having hard days, I’ll be at a stoplight and here comes a red dragonfly just shooting across me. I’m like, okay, good. You’re there. You got me. I love this.
I feel that they’re around us all the time. I feel we are surrounded, at least I feel very surrounded by just this group of beings. Whether it’s my parents, my in-laws, ascended masters, spirit guides, angels, guardian, angels, source, God, whatever you want to use for that person or being, I feel very, very surrounded all the time. I hear those nudges and I always tell people to pay attention to those nudges. If you’re going to turn right and all of a sudden at the last second you feel like, Ooh, I’m being told not to do that. Even though it’s going to take you out of your way, follow it, it’s probably to keep you safe. So, I do think they’re around us, and I do think they’re guiding us all the time. It’s our job to pay attention
Johnny Burke: All right. And I’ve heard that many, many times about the guides and our loved ones who have crossed over- friends and family, that type of thing. I’ve also heard that some of the spirit guides, can be humorous and they can be even kind of snarky and they can kind of like lose their cool sometimes if we don’t take heed of their messages. Have you yet any experiences like that?
Alejandra Brady: Maybe the quarters. I think they were being funny to send me 16 quarters in the middle of a mountain, that makes no sense. I haven’t had them be snarky to me. I have felt sometimes maybe what feels frustrating to us is their way of keeping us from getting hurt. I have had tech stuff go wrong and interviews go wrong or something else go wrong, and instead of getting frustrated, I’m like, oh, okay. They must be protecting me from something. I never really think of them as funny, at least not in my personal experience. I tend to view them more as protection maybe, because that’s what I need, for me it’s always about being feeling protected and being supported by them. That would be fun if they’re funny too.
Johnny Burke: I think the main point of spirit guides is just that- it’s just for protection. But I have had several speakers tell me that they can be funny and have a sense of humor and that type of thing.
Alejandra Brady: I think that’s awesome.
Johnny Burke: Yeah, it is, it is. I can just imagine, two-spirit guides; let’s call them Michael and Matthew, where they get frustrated and they look at each other and they see their charge going off and doing something stupid like, oh man, not this guy again. You know what I mean? Like, you want to take this? Nope, I did it last time. No!
Alejandra Brady: Your turn.
Johnny Burke: It’s your turn. You were talking a moment ago about channeling. Is that a part of your journey or is that just something you stumbled onto? How does that work??
Alejandra Brady: It, I guess it was supposed to happen, but I didn’t know what I was doing. So I was in a group setting doing breath work for the very first time again in Sedona. I was in the middle of a retreat. We lived there for, during Covid. We had a second home there in, so we lived there, and I wrote most of the book in Sedona. Which of course now looking back, right, makes perfect sense. I was guided to go there and do all this there. As I started listening and following things unfolded, so we’re in a breath work session and there were probably, I think seven or eight of us.
We’re all having our own experience-you have a mask over your head, your eyes are covered so that everybody has privacy. Some people were screaming, some people were crying, some people were laughing and somebody was talking. And to me, what was this gibberish? And so when it was all over, everybody sat up and we were all sharing and I go, “who was talking? “And everyone turned to me and looked at me and go,” honey, that was you’. ‘ Well, what was I saying?’ And our guide, our teacher said, ‘you were speaking in Light language.”
Johnny Burke: Light language.
Alejandra Brady: I’m like, “what is that? And she goes, ‘you were channeling’. I’m like,’ what was I channeling? ‘She goes, ‘ask the question.; who was talking to you?” And that’s what came to me. it’s always been a bit unclear because it’s hathor slash hathor. So Hathor, of course, is the Egyptian goddess who nursed the Pharaohs, but then the Hathors are beings from another planet, but somehow they are tied to her. So it could all, from what I understand, all be the same thing. it’s never been made clear to me if it’s Hathor or Hathors. But I go into light language when I go into breath work, I can go into light language without breath work if I want to. It’s not something I do very often. I did my very first, and as of now, only transmission during Lionsgate.
I was in the middle of doing a beautiful, meditation for Lionsgate portal last year, last August. And during the transmission, I got told, when you’re done with the meditation, you’re going to push record and you’re going to channel in light language and you’re going to put it on your Instagram. And I’m like, no, I’m not. No I’m not. I give Feng shui tips and design tips. No, I’m not, absolutely not. And they’re like, yes, you are. I go, well, okay, I’ll tell you what. I’ll channel it and then if I’m okay, I’ll post it. And they’re like, no, you’re channeling and you’re posting. And I was scared shitless. I’m like, this is it, I’m going to get canceled by my clients, whatever.
But I did it and I actually instead got a huge response and everybody was very supportive. I don’t remember one negative comment on there. People were curious as to what light language was and what it means. And I said I may be asked to do this more often, and if I am, I’ll do it. This may be a one and done just to basically test me and see if I’ll listen to what they’re asking me to do and for me to do it right? But yeah, that was one of those times where I’m like, this is going a little bit out there, but I love when I go into light language, I feel it’s very healing for me and for whoever is supposed to be listening to me doing it.
Johnny Burke: I have heard that once, when I had a guest on a while back, and it was pretty incredible. She just started doing this like in a very rapid fashion.
Alejandra Brady: very fast.
Johnny Burke: It’s very fast and she wasn’t hesitating. And I’mthinking to be able to make that up, you almost have to be superhuman. So it’s very, very interesting. Since this is your last go round, if it is, there are some of us who might be a little bit jealous. What are your thoughts about our future when you take into effect lightworkers, ascension, hopefully moving into five D or at least raising our vibe? What does the near-term future hold for us?
Alejandra Brady: I’ve seen such a change, even from, seven years ago when my journey started, it’s already becoming way more mainstream. There’s a lot more out there. There are a lot more people who are open to it, so I feel very positive. I hope that that trend continues. I hope that people understand that there is more out there than just us. It’s it, there’s no way of course, that it’s just us out there. Right? And why wouldn’t we?
What I tell clients when they’re on the fence, whether they want to do a consultation or not, I’m like, the energy is around you. Why wouldn’t you want to work with it? Align yourself. Align your home, align for your purpose. Make something of your time on this planet at this time. Five years ago, I could have never said to a group of my friends, Hey, I want to do a sound bath. Let’s go [do a sound bath together. It’d be like, why aren’t we going to happy hour? No. Instead of a happy hour, we’ll go to a sound bath. Or breath work. But it’s happening little by little. There’s still those who are going to be closed off till the end of their time here this time around. And that’s okay too. That’s their journey, right?
Johnny Burke: It’s where they are at this point.
Alejandra Brady: Right, and that’s okay. You cannot force. I think that’s one of the biggest things that I’d like to share with everyone is I know when the journey started for me, I got super excited. And I was just like, well, of course everyone’s going to want to know all this. Everyone’s going to want to do feng shui, everyone’s going to want to do all this. And it was a very rude awakening when people told me, oh, I have no interest in that. Don’t talk to me about that. You’re of the devil, you’re evil. I don’t believe in it. It’s witchcraft. All of the things that people can say to you when you go into this space.
It’s taken me years. I’m speaking from a very different place where I was when I started the journey, right? I just think that our job here is to make that stuff available and the people that it’s meant to reach, it’s going to reach and the people that are meant to be healed will hopefully then go on and heal others, which was the case for me. I needed to do a lot of healing before I could feel comfortable. And be in a place where now I feel I can be the healer for others. It’s a process, but I think the more and more mainstream it becomes, the more you’ve got shows like yours out here who are talking about it and making it more mainstream, the better for all of us.
Johnny Burke: We’re trying.
Alejandra Brady: Yeah, I know we are.
Johnny Burke: We’re all trying to raise the frequency
Alejandra Brady: Absolutely.
Johnny Burke: In this case, increasing the ranks of the lightworkers. Because we’re hearing that a lot. Thank God. Alejandra, thanks for joining us today. Really, really cool information. Looking forward to the, next installment, but we’ll save that for later. In the meantime, how can our listeners find you online?
Alejandra Brady: Easiest way is I’m super active on Instagram. I can’t do all the platforms, too many, but Instagram and I think you are going to link everything. So Instagram at @AlejandraBradyLifestyle, and my website, alejandrabrady.com.
