FAQ
What do listeners think about it?

*Send us a brief email with a concept that describes why your topic would be a good fit for our podcast along with a link to your website. Please remember the main focus of the podcast is on the survival of consciousness, the evolution of consciousness, and the unseen world. If your idea is appropriate for the podcast, we then have a discovery call to discuss and create questions/ bullet points for an episode that will offer the best value for our listeners. This is done on a video chat which also serves as a soundcheck to test the audio quality.
WHAT KIND OF GUEST SPEAKERS WILL THE CLOSER TO VENUS PODCAST FEATURE?
Afterlife/parapsychology researchers, hypnotherapists, mediums, near-death survivors as well as people who have experienced or witnessed spiritually transformative events. Topics include past lives, reincarnation, astral travel, Ascension, mediumship, consciousness science, the quantum realm, angels, spirit guides, shamanism, ancient civilizations, star beings, or just about anything that Edgar Cayce wrote about.
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
The content you provide must be based on personal experience or primary research. You will also need to have a concept of what your message is for consideration. Please keep any promotional dialogue to a bare minimum as the focus should be on your experiences. *We are interested in people who want to educate and inspire our listeners rather than promote their brand.
RECORDING FAQ-WHAT GUEST SPEAKERS NEED TO KNOW
Closer To Venus is currently a pre-recorded audio-only show, but the cameras are on as it helps to see who we are talking to, we just don’t record the video. You will need either a desktop or laptop( no phones please) and some type of headphones. External microphones are strongly preferred, and air pods also work quite well. Discovery calls are about 15 minutes, while the interview recordings usually run about 40-45 minutes.
Please make sure to use the latest version of Chrome or Edge.
YOUR SHOW IS LISTED AS A RELIGION/ SPIRITUAL PODCAST; ARE RELIGIOUS TOPICS DISCUSSED?
No, at least not in the traditional sense. Much of the research and anecdotal evidence of the last 100-120 years will often be at odds with traditional religious and scientific beliefs. Nevertheless, the most important things that many of these topics can teach us is that love, compassion, and forgiveness are of the utmost importance. You may also notice that quite a few speakers do talk of trying to find god, Christ Consciousness, and that instances of deep meditation, near-death experiences, and out-of-body experiences often report feelings of an “unconditional love” as well as “God’s love”. It just may not be what you would expect to hear in church.
