What do listeners think about it?
*Send us a brief email with a concept/idea that describes why your topic would be a good fit for our podcast along with a link to your website. Please remember to include bullet points of any and all mystical/ spiritually transformative events that inspire your work. Typically, we have a discovery call to discuss and create questions/ bullet points for an episode that will offer the best value for our listeners. This is usually done on a video chat which also serves as a soundcheck to test the audio quality. All guest speakers will need to read the “RECORDING FAQ” section below.
WHAT KIND OF GUEST SPEAKERS WILL THE CLOSER TO VENUS PODCAST FEATURE?
Scholars, afterlife/parapsychology researchers, hypnotherapists, mediums, near-death survivors as well as people who have experienced spiritually transformative events. Topics include past lives, reincarnation, astral travel, Ascension, mediumship, consciousness science, the quantum realm, angels, spirit guides, shamanism, ancient civilizations, star beings, or just about anything that Edgar Cayce wrote about.
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
The content you provide must be based on experience. In other words, you have to be either an experiencer, conducting primary research or a witness to any phenomenon
A good example of a researcher would be Dr. Ian Stevenson.
Keep The Promotional Dialogue To A Minimum
*Please note the focus of our podcast is on your experience and/or research. We ask that promotional dialogue be kept to a minimum, and not to mention anything for sale.
Post The Episode On Your Website And Social Media Pages
Once your episode is done, we will send you links, including a transcript that you can embed on your website.
RECORDING FAQ-WHAT GUEST SPEAKERS NEED TO KNOW
Closer To Venus is currently a pre-recorded audio-only show, but the cameras are on as it helps to see who we are talking to, we just don’t record the video. You will need either a desktop or laptop( no phones please) and headphones or earbuds. External microphones are strongly preferred, air pods also work quite well. Please make sure to use the latest version of Chrome or Edge. Discovery calls are 15 minutes, while the interview recordings usually run about 40-45 minutes.
*Please note: the use of headset mics is discouraged due to poor audio quality.
YOUR SHOW IS LISTED AS A RELIGION/ SPIRITUAL PODCAST; ARE RELIGIOUS TOPICS DISCUSSED?
No, at least not in the traditional sense. Much of the research and anecdotal evidence of the last 100-120 years will often be at odds with traditional religious and scientific beliefs. Nevertheless, the most important things that many of these topics can teach us is that love, compassion, and forgiveness are of the utmost importance. You may also notice that quite a few speakers do talk of trying to find god, Christ Consciousness, and that instances of deep meditation, near-death experiences, out-of-body experiences and past life regression often report feelings of an “unconditional love” as well as “God’s love”. It just may not be what you would expect to hear in church..
