#218 Tiffany Antoine: Past Lives, Astral Travel, and Life Between Lives
Johnny Burke: Welcome to Closer to Venus. I’m Joni Burke and today’s guest is Tiffany Antoine. She’s a shaman, past life regressionist, channeler and founder of Meditating Human. Her work blends the mystical with the methodical to help people navigate spiritual awakening without needing to disappear into the woods for 40 days.
In this episode, we’ll discuss the soul’s journey across lifetimes from past life regression to optional reincarnation, and also how spirit guides play a crucial role in the in-between space, also known as life between lives, Tiffany, welcome to the program.
Tiffany Antoine : Thank you so much. It is nice to see you again. How are you?
Johnny Burke: For the listeners out there, Tiffany is in Boca Raton and I’m in Palm Beach Gardens, so both in the heat of South Florida. Alright, so, we’ve got a lot to unpack here, some very interesting stuff. So let’s start with past lives. How did you discover that?
Tiffany Antoine : I came across a book by Michael Newton, Journey of Souls. He has another book as well. I think it’s Destiny of Souls. That’s how I got into past lives. Then I went to someone, and they did a past life regression on me. I had multiple past life regressions and then I spontaneously did it on myself- just went into a meditation, about a past life because I was getting pains in my back. So just curious of where that was coming from. And I spontaneously went into a past life, and I just saw everything play out, which got me into, okay, how can I do this to further my own spiritual journey? Then of course, help people with their journey ’cause it’s been helpful for me to understand what I was taking from life to life to life, so that I can learn what it is that I needed to learn and then move on from it.
Johnny Burke: So, you are a shaman, a past life regressionist and a channeler. I’m assuming that the past lives, did that come first? Did that open the door to the other experiences?
Tiffany Antoine : I’m going to tell you it started with just good old fashioned meditation and then I using binaural beats, astral travel.
Johnny Burke: Oh.
Tiffany Antoine : I came across, past life regressions, Michael Newton and Dolores Cannon, as we all know, you can’t mention past life without Delores Cannon.
Johnny Burke: No, you can’t.
Tiffany Antoine : So got into all of that. Shamanism helpe me to really just find another avenue to really commune and speak with my guides, and speak with other people’s guides and do the shamanic journeying and understanding that life between lives being in the astral plane from a different perspective. ‘Cause at the end of the day, it’s all the same thing. You’re just dealing with the astral plane, your guides, your higher self from different perspectives to understand it in a holistic way, who you are in a holistic way.
Johnny Burke: And those methods are like all avenues that lead to the same destination. It sounds like.
Tiffany Antoine : It really does. It’s just kind of what floats your boat? What do you align with naturally? What makes sense for you and that’s what you go with.
Johnny Burke: Astral travel. That’s a really interesting one. And since you mentioned Dolores Cannon, I saw one of her clips not too long ago where she says when we sleep, we all leave our bodies. What kind of experiences do you remember when astral traveling? What did you see? What was that like?
Tiffany Antoine : Some astral traveling, it was spontaneous and I ended up in different locations, interacting with other people’s astral bodies, and as it was just as real as the way you would speak to someone one-on-one. In other instances, I would astral travel and I would kind of get into that fifth dimension, sixth dimension space where now I’m dealing with my spirit guides.
I’m dealing with entities that incarnated to have conversations with me. I’ve also had it where I’ve been in spaces and there was so much trauma in that particular space that when I finally got a chance to relax, those entities kind of pulled me out of my body because they wanted to show me more things as it related to a particular space.
So at this point in time, I tend to just do it spontaneously. I figure if when I’m going into meditation, if Spirit wants me to see a particular thing or experience a particular thing, it’ll just automatically lead me there and I’ll experience it. When I’m doing shamanic journeys though, it’s a little bit more intentional because I’m going for a very specific reason.
Johnny Burke: When I think of astral travel, I think of the layers or the levels in the spirit world. Do you have any insight into that?
Tiffany Antoine : So yes. In terms of the different layers, I tend not to travel through the layers, if that makes sense. I show up at a location . Then either I’m experiencing that location or I’m speaking to the entities that are in that location because they are giving me additional information on something that I am trying to figure out, something that I’m dealing with or, I have a question around something. So they’re answering that question for me.
What I like about the astral travel is that it’s very immersive. It’s not just the conversation, you’re seeing it, you’re feeling it, you’re smelling. It’s just all of the senses at work. It happens and it’s just this download of information so very quickly, and I try my best to stay in it. There are times where I’m astral traveling and I’m there for about an hour, two hours ’cause I’m wanting to stay in the experience. Meanwhile, there are times where it’s just that quick, it’s like five minutes, but yet I have like this wealth of information.
Johnny Burke: Can that happen if you’re at work or sitting at the bar at Louis Bossi’s, does it happen that spontaneously?
Tiffany Antoine : It has happened that spontaneously. I’m not overly fond of it happening like that because sometimes I’m not in a place where I can let it happen. uh, good example of that was when I was on a plane I was resting and then boom! I kept getting pulled out of my body. I can’t really do that because I’m on the plane, the plane is moving, I can’t have now my astral form moving. So I had to stay awake, or at least I had to stay a little bit more conscious so that I wasn’t pulled out of my body. and I understood why; the entities, there was something specific they wanted to show me, and so I got a glimpse of it.
So when I was actually grounded, I landed, got to bed, before I went to bed, I was like, let me meditate. Let me as astral travel so I can continue and see what they were trying to show me. That’s what happened. But yeah, sometimes at a bar, sometimes on a plane. My whole thing is like, please don’t do it while I’m driving. I don’t want to astral travel and drive that’s not going to work out for anyone involved.
Johnny Burke: Or at least wait till my drink gets here.
Tiffany Antoine : Exactly. Just give me a second. When that happened to me the first time, spontaneously, it threw me off because I didn’t know that it could happen spontaneously.
Johnny Burke: I wasn’t quite sure about that either, although I’ve heard lots of different variations . And I’ve had experiencers tell me about how their experience in astral travel did give them some insight into the levels of the spirit world. And that’s probably another conversation, but what’s the difference between astral travel and dreaming?
Tiffany Antoine : With the astral travel, even though I just said it happens to me spontaneously, but it’s a little bit more intentional. You’re going into that with I’m going to a particular place. So you’re going in with an intention. You’re going in with a question. You’re going in to see someone. Usually there’s a very specific reason. Even with it being spontaneous and I’m being pulled out of my body, it’s for a very specific reason why that’s happening.
Dreaming is more than just processing the day’s events. A lot of it is going to have those conversations with your higher self, with people that you are physically in communication here with different messages, but it’s all symbolic. So then having to break down what those symbols mean. Dreaming can be less intentional. As opposed to the astral travel, which is more intentional, but you’re definitely in the spirit realm. You’re definitely interacting with different entities.
Like I just had an experience in the form of a dream, but I was out of my body as I would be, and I was speaking to another entity, which was my daughter, and just saying like, you know, we need to change things in the physical. We were kind of talking about what needed to happen in the physical realm to get a mutual goal. I remember saying to her, okay, it’s time for me to go. The body is calling me back. I just shot down at top speed and I almost freaked out a little bit ’cause I’m like, how I going to get this body at top speed going through all the clouds, going through the atmosphere. I’m going to crash.
As quick as I had that I woke up in the body, that was the first time I’ve had that experience and it was absolutely magnificent. Because you hear all the time that when you leave your body, you’re usually communing with your higher self with the other entities. But this time I was able to retain the memory
Johnny Burke: You mentioned something, a moment ago about you having dreams with people that you know. What about when you have dreams with people in places that look very, very familiar and feel familiar, but Tiffany or Johnny for that matter, has never met them. What is that? Is that dreaming? Is it astral traveling? Is it somewhere in parallel lives, or what exactly is that?
Tiffany Antoine : Yes to all of it, and this is what I was told, it can be in a parallel life, it can also be part of a past life experience.
Johnny Burke: Okay, even if the surroundings look contemporary, like in present day, it can still be a past life memory?
Tiffany Antoine : Absolutely Because you know as well as I do, time is very malleable. It doesn’t even exist. And so timelines mesh and it can be a contemporary environment. Someone, an entity from, or a person that you’ve known in a past life and they’re coming into this environment to a conversation with you, give you a message, whatever the reason that they are wanting to interact you in that realm.
Johnny Burke: What about when you have a dream in a space which looks contemporary, but you know you’ve never been there. This time there’s people that you do know. It is just another permutation. So, you’re talking about astral travel in between lives, which we will be talking about shortly and past lives. But what we’ve all been told, like you just said, time doesn’t exist-all of this is happening at once. Is it?
Tiffany Antoine : And it is happening at once. It just melds into each other, which is why you can have all of those different experiences, but it’s just that we this avatar to help us navigate this dimension, we put things in a timeframe, we put things very linear, so it makes sense to our mind. But ultimately, it’s all happening at once. It’s all in mesh.
So you can be in a space, in the dream realm, be in a space that you know, people that you don’t know, people that you know, a space that you don’t know. It can be that you’re seeing something that’s about to happen. It can be where there’s a message being passed on. And so you need to understand the symbology of the dream because it’s all symbols. So what does this dream mean to you in terms of the symbols so you can get the message that you need to get from it.
Having dreams like that and experiences like that, the first thing I would say is take that same dream and bring it into a meditation if you can. I do that every night to be able to break down that dream. As soon as I wake up, I remember the information. And when I’m in that in-between sleep state, I start breaking the dream down because I’m way more lucid. So I have my guides just giving me the information. This is what this means and this, so by the time I fully wake up, I have all of the information, and I know how to move forward.
Johnny Burke: What is your experience with the in-between space? When you first started exploring past lives, was that happening at the same time or did that experience happen later?
Tiffany Antoine : That happened when I went for my first past life regression, and it was wonderful.
Johnny Burke: I’ve heard amazing stories, or should I say accounts of that. Can you give us an example of what that experience was and what you thought it meant?
Tiffany Antoine : I did meet my council the folks that allegedly helped me to decide about this particular incarnation. When I got out of the body and I realized that I had transitioned from last life, it was sense of peace. It was very freeing. I felt as though I could be myself. I wasn’t hindered the body anymore, wasn’t scared. It felt the way it was supposed to be. Then I went into a space where it was people, entities greeted me back and I was in a golden shower to cleanse myself of all of the negative energy that was still attached to me from the last incarnation and all of the trauma. Then I was almost quarantined and put in a space by myself so that I could rest and gain my energy back before I was reintroduced to everyone else.
At that point, I started having conversations about what I wanted to do next and what that looked like. There was no time. So I can’t tell you like, Hey, that lasted 20 years, or that lasted 50 years. I don’t know how long it lasted but will never get past the feeling of it being free. I don’t know how to explain that, but shedding the body is not as scary as we are taught that it is. Going back into your natural form the best thing ever, at least from my perspective and experience.
Johnny Burke: It’s pretty consistent with what a lot of us have heard from experiencers. that is. So did you get a chance to experience the death of your previous life when that life ended and then you went to the in-between space? Okay. This is what I’ve been told by several people and some of these, were mediums that worked in hospice told me that they can literally see the spirit leave the bed, and there’s a greeting party on the other side.
Yes.
It’s true?
Tiffany Antoine : Yeah. At least for me, that’s what I experienced. My first past life regression, that is exactly what I experienced. Then a subsequent regression I didn’t have a welcome party. I knew where I was going. transitioned out of my last body back into my natural form, I vividly remember saying to myself, I don’t need anyone to show me where to go. I know how to get there, and I know where I’m going. It was just an immediate shot to where I needed to be. I didn’t have anyone coming to greet me or say, welcome back.
My next question was, where was my welcome party and how come I didn’t get them? The response that I received was, ‘ you’re an old soul, you’ve done it so many times, you don’t need anyone to show you what to do. And as a matter of fact, you are showing people what to do.’ You’re just going to your destination. Which also tells me that when I saw my welcome party, when I first had my life regression, that I was a younger soul then.It made sense that I would have people helping me navigate getting back to myself as opposed to now where it’s like, well, you know, I already know what I’m doing.
Johnny Burke: And you also mentioned that reincarnation, it’s a choice. It’s not mandated.
Tiffany Antoine : Correct.
Johnny Burke: I’ve heard that before. And it seemed to me like you don’t have to reincarnate, but I’ve also had other experiencers tell me that they felt compelled to when they’re in that space because there was that much more they needed to learn. Myself, I’d rather hang out with David Bowie and Prince and drink from rivers of weapons grade Cabernet- I don’t want to go back to this place, but in all seriousness, your impression from that place; is that accurate where most beings think, yeah, I’ve got a lot more to learn. So yeah, I got to go back?
Tiffany Antoine : Well, if you feel as though you have a lot more to learn and you want to come back, you can come back. If you feel as though like, yeah, no, I’m good. time for me to move on to the next thing. you move on to the next thing.
Johnny Burke: Which is?
Tiffany Antoine : We have a whole other conversation about demiurge and this place not being primary, earth and being coerced to come back because you’re just feeding the machine, which is a whole, very different conversation. You don’t have to come back. You make yourself come back. If you have something to learn, you move on, but you’re going into other dimensions. ‘ because now it’s the conversation of going through the maze.
Because what you are doing is facing yourself and the things that you’ve done in all of your past lives and your current life. So you’re facing yourself and then going into a room of shadows. Where you are now having the experience from the other person’s perspective. So having to go through all of these things to get to the point where you can’t even leave the dimension.
Johnny Burke: Did you say Room of shadows?
Tiffany Antoine : Yes,
Johnny Burke: So that’s a real thing then.
Tiffany Antoine : That is a real thing, I’ve experienced it on one of my shamanic journeys.
Johnny Burke: Okay, so what is the other word that you describe the maze as? What did you call that?
Tiffany Antoine : The Duat. This is what I was shown, and this is what I experienced. When you transition, if you don’t want to come back, don’t go to the light, go to the dark. The light, you’re being recycled. The Dark, you’re wanting to leave this cycle to reincarnate here. The room of shadows, you’re facing yourself. The maze you are facing what you’ve done to other people, and you’re and you are experiencing that.
Some people do not make it through that maze because it’s not just this incarnation, it’s all your incarnations. So you’ve had to be able to face all of that, to be able to get through that maze. And souls don’t make it because it’s too much, it’s either one or two things. They stay there trying to figure it out or they say, forget it. I’m just going to come back. I’m just going to reincarnate back. You can’t stay there forever. At some point you’re going to be pulled back to reincarnate.
Johnny Burke: So the room of shadows, if I understand this is where we get to see our actions in all of our lives and how they affected other people, and we get to feel what they felt like.
Tiffany Antoine : You do that in the maze; in the room of shadows, you’re facing yourself. You’re going to face yourself with all your incarnations,
Johnny Burke: Just so we all understand this, when the time comes for us to transition, we can either go to the light or the dark, or the light or the maze?
Tiffany Antoine :. What I was shown was a boatman and you give him a payment. And I’m like, well, why am I paying anyone? ‘ Why does money even exist? And they were like, it’s not necessarily money, but it’s what, is valuable for you? What you He receives that payment and then moves you on to the next dimension. It’s that boatman takes you to the next dimension and your soul moves on, and you experience what you experience there, but it’s absolutely optional.
Johnny Burke: But when you say dark, that sounds like you’re going to like the depths where all the lower vibrational beings are, or is that something completely different?
Tiffany Antoine : Are there low vibrational beings? Yes. But when you transition, which is why it’s so important to keep your vibration up you are in this avatar. When you transition, all there is is mind. All there is is energy. You are going to attract what you’re vibing at. So if you are at a level vibration, that’s what you’re going to get. There’s no heaven or hell. And so my question to my guides was, well, how come I can’t just be with like a higher vibration?
And they said that that would be more destructive than helpful. Wherever you’re vibing at, if you’re put in a higher vibration, you won’t know how to deal with it. You would self-destruct; you will not incorporate into that energy the way you should because that’s not your natural energy. Even when you transition you are with the other entities that you are vibrationally attuned to, the question is, would you even see that as hell?
If you are an alcoholic, for instance, maybe heaven to you is having unlimited drink and drunk or whatever. But for me, that would be hell. It’s the same with seeing negative entities and being possessed and all of those other things, having those negative experiences, because that’s what you’re vibing at, so that’s what you’re going to attract. If you’re not vibing at a low energy, then you’re not going to have that experience. so ultimately the onus is put back on you.
Johnny Burke: Last question about that, when you get there, is your feeling that you instinctively know what to do and what road to take?
Tiffany Antoine : Yes.
You already have that information. I know it doesn’t feel like it, but when you transition, you have the option. Unfortunately, a lot of us think and I have to go towards the light. But if it’s a recycle bin. I don’t want to come back here, what are my other options? That’s when they started showing me, well, you go towards the dark. And I’m like, well, I don’t want to go towards the dark either, because where is that leading me to? It’s leading you to where you need to go and you’ve got to go through that embracing dark in order to get to the light, the other side of it where you want to be. It’s the same thing here. In order become the person you want to be, got to embrace the dark side of yourself to be able to heal that and move past that.
Johnny Burke: So do you have any particular past life memories that really stick out that you’d like to share?
Tiffany Antoine : This one is a little bit rough. It’s a little bit violent.I was Amish ‘ I used to have a lot of lower back pain, like and injured my back. At least not in this incarnation. And I did a few past live regressions on myself and come to find out was an Amish woman, the man that I’d married, was very abusive murdered me, tied me to a pole. His family knew he was because they all ended up protecting him, tied me to a pole and he beat me until my flesh was ripped from my bones, and so my back was exposed, my spine was exposed and he ended up dumping me in a river.
Johnny Burke: And you remember this, you remember all this?
Tiffany Antoine : Oh, I remember it very clearly -the little bonnet thing, I had my blonde bangs, blue eyes. I was a little bit taller than I am now. My husband in that incarnation was tall, had a dark beard and the hat, the dark hair , he had dark eyes. He was this very, this foreboding energy, just a miserable human. And took it out on me. I did not have any kids during that incarnation. I wasn’t around long enough to have children. But what also popped up that, ‘ like, why am I having all these traumatic experiences? And what I was told was that even in this incarnation I’ve set it up for myself that traumatic experiences are to wake me up from this sleep.
Unfortunately, that went too far, but even in this in incarnation, I’ve had a very abusive childhood. They were like, that was all part of it. All of that was to snap you out of your sleep. Which is why I’m where I am now. They were like, it comes a point in time where you don’t need to do that anymore.
But it also comes point in time where you don’t feel like you need to incarnate anymore. And I’ve had that experience as well where I was in the middle of a meditation I just started crying and the like, the higher self was coming through. They were just like, you can’t come back here anymore. This is the last time you are here. cannot come back to this
Johnny Burke: This is it for you then, right? This life?
Tiffany Antoine : It is for me. Like you at some point you’ve got to move on to the different levels. You can’t keep coming here. I’ve had that happen to me on several different occasions.
Johnny Burke: Your recent experience of childhood sounds like that was part of the soul contract.
Tiffany Antoine : Well, it’s so funny that you brought that up because I have come to the conclusion that soul contracts are traps. A trap to keep you stuck in experiences that you don’t need to or want to be in. Soul contracts don’t exist the way you think they exist. You can get rid of those so-called soul contracts.
Johnny Burke: You can cancel them, can’t you?
Tiffany Antoine : You can cancel out the contract. You can just say the words out loud. You can call your energy back to you. But it’s really just as simple as leaving the situation that you don’t want to be in.
Johnny Burke: With all your experience, astral travel, past lives, in between space, parallel lives and differences between dreaming and astral travel, what are the most important things that you’ve learned from your in experiences in total?
Tiffany Antoine : You are God of your world .That is a hill I will die on. You are in full control your experience. Even if it doesn’t feel that way, you’ve got to call your energy back to you and see embrace you are. Just because you’ve incarnated this avatar, it doesn’t mean you’re not who you are. That’s like getting into your car and saying that you’re no longer human. You’re still human. You’re just in the car. It’s the same thing here. You’re just in this body. are source God of your world. You are the alpha and the omega.
Johnny Burke: Going back to the in-between space once more, I’ve been told by plenty of experiencers that being in that space, in between incarnations is like casting a movie and you’re the star, but once you get down here, you have the soul amnesia and then you just kick and scream.
Tiffany Antoine : Totally. Such a good way of putting it. Absolutely.Coming into your godhood while in this avatar is you understanding you are the star of the show. You’re the director, you’re the producer, and you’re also acting in your own sitcom. We were supporting cast in our own life, abdicating our power. But if you think about it, most of us, if not all of us, grew up, deifying authority or external, god, whatever, deifying people, places and things outside of us as opposed to understanding.
But it’s all within us and it begins and ends with us. But why that happens is a whole other conversation.
Johnny Burke: We might have to explore that in another installment. And I’ll leave everybody with this famous quote by the Long Island medium: Life is like an episode of Saturday Night Live. Everyone’s got their costumes and their characters, but at the end of the night, everyone hugs. And for all I know, they go down to the local pub and have beers, and that’s what everyone says. Yep. It’s just like that. Tiffany, thanks for joining us tonight. It’s very cool stuff. How can our listeners find you online?
Tiffany Antoine : Sure Meditatinghuman.com Also my YouTube meditating human ,meditating human everywhere So Instagram, TikTok
