#175 Winnifred Davis: War Through The Eyes Of The Soul Part II
Johnny Burke: Welcome to Closer to Venus. I’m Johnny Burke, and today’s guest is Winnifred Davis. She is a poet, writer, spiritual counselor, psychic medium, and shaman. She’s also been a rescue soul for more than 33 years and has written several books about the soul, its journey, and the truth that is reincarnation.
Today, we will continue discussing her most recent book, A Broken Record, History on Rewind War Through the Eyes of the Soul, part two, Winnifred, welcome back to the show.
Winnifred Davis: Oh, thank you for having me again, John. How are you today?
Johnny Burke: Very good for a Sunday. Thanks. The last time, in part one of War Through The Eyes Of The Soul, we spoke about how we end the cycle of war and whether wars will ever end. So I think it’s a good idea to discuss war from your personal experience in your past lives.
Winnifred Davis: Okay. The first war I can remember going back occurred in Atlantis. At that time, my husband and I were exiled. We were rulers in Atlantis, and we were greedy, corrupt, and what have you. We were betrayed by the high priest, who had, when my husband was younger, been in charge of his education.
He married me, and then he took me as his partner in ruling our kingdom. And that kingdom went straight from northern Italy to the south of France and other places around the Atlantic Ocean. And then the priest was not pleased, so he conspired with people from other kingdoms and overthrew us. I was exiled to the east to what we now know as Crete and my husband was exiled to the West to what we now know as Morocco. I was exiled with the youngest of the two children, two boys, and he was exiled with the eldest one. There, I lived for another 30 years or so. He lived for another 40 years or so. The kids were separated, and it wasn’t easy. We used to communicate partly by telepathy.
Johnny Burke: Telepathy. Right. Okay. And by the way, what were your names back then?
Winnifred Davis: It was Mummar and Risi.
Johnny Burke: And you were Risi?
Winnifred Davis: I was Risi. So now we come to the second lifetime that I can remember, in war, took place in, I was the entity William Elphinstone, in Scotland. William Elphinstone was not motherless, but he didn’t know who his mother was. His father was a statesman. And, I should say my father gave me to nuns to raise. I grew up, I became a statesman and a lawyer. I was a bishop of Aberdeen in Scotland. I was also a peace negotiator. I negotiated the peace treaty between Scotland and the Netherlands in 1513; I believe. I advised at the time it was King James the Fourth, of Scotland not to go to war with England. And that was the battle of Flodden. He didn’t listen. He lost his life. And as a matter of fact, most of the nobility of Scotland was destroyed.
What did that mean? A lot of children were left fatherless. Now, if you were a noble and lost your father as a child, you were given to another nobleman who would educate you in the ways boys should have been educated. Well, there was no one to give the children to because most of the nobility was decimated by that war. Now, I died about a year later, mostly because of a broken heart, because I did not like war, and I did advise King James IV not to go to war.
I was Catholic then. I also founded the University of Aberdeen. Along with someone else, I brought printing into Scotland and started writing about the history of Scotland and biographies on notable figures in Scotland. I died in 1514.
About 50 years later, a little bit more, maybe 53 or so. I was born a Protestant and female—this time in England. At five years old, I was in France with my parents and the Bartholomew Day massacre occurred. Now, that massacre was a plan hatched by the King’s mother, Catherine De Medici. She was Catholic. During that massacre, between 3000 and as many as 30,000 Huguenots and other Protestants were murdered. A lot of the murdered people were thrown into La Seine. And as a little 5-year-old, I could remember when I go back, just cowering in fear because people were knocking on our doors to come in, and we did manage to get people in. And then each time you’d hear a knock, you know, here I was thinking, here are these bad people. When are they going to come in, maybe, and kill us? After it settled down with my mom who was pregnant at the time. We left France, of course, you had to hide, and we went back to England and waited for my father’s return.
now I got married at 16 to a soldier. I. He was not just a soldier, but I leave it there. He was a soldier, and this was in the Netherlands. He didn’t wear his leg protector or his leg armor, and he was wounded in the leg. He died a couple of weeks later. I nursed him. Sat with him all that time. The doctor should have amputated his leg. They did not. And so gangrene set in, and that was it.
The second husband loved war. Why did he love war? Well, part of it was when you go to war, and this was during the time, you know, with the Protestants versus the Catholics in Spain, and this is during the time of Francis Drake and the Spanish armada and the discoveries of new lands. And you gain your riches, by raiding Spanish ships and what have you, and the second husband, he loved that like, so he loved going to war. He wanted to be a hero and he was a good soldier, but an awful commander. And he died and left me with three kids. The first husband, when he died, left me with one child, and I was pregnant at the time, but obviously, he passed away. And you know, the stress I miscarried. But with the second husband now, he left me destitute with three children.
So here I am back in, the Elizabethan time, and you’re destitute, your husband’s gone, your children, what about your children? And I won’t get into that. That’s a story for another book. That’s going to come up with that particular lifetime.
A couple of years later, after his death, I married a third time. This man was also a soldier, but he was an Irish man. He did not like war. He fought on the side of the English, didn’t like some of what they did, and, we had a good marriage. We had two children after, and he helped to look after the other children that the second husband left. The first husband’s child, she had grown to the age where she got married. So here I was, a widow. I was a Protestant then, and then at the end, I converted to Catholicism. So what you have here is an example of when I speak about historical prejudices, grudges, and victimhood, where you see it makes no sense. Now, I was born a Protestant in a consequent lifetime. Well, how do I explain that? Am I going to be fighting against Protestants, or am I going to be fighting against Catholics?
Here I am. The masks. Those masks are male, Catholic. I was born in the next lifetime, female, Protestant, so the masks make no sense. And when we say we are fighting historical grudges, victimhood, and prejudices, it makes no sense either because, basically, war has no descendants.
Johnny Burke: It doesn’t, and we talked about that
Winnifred Davis: Yes, we did.
Johnny Burke: In the first installment.
Winnifred Davis: Before 1943, when I died as a 17-year-old in World War II, I was John Adams, and so there was the War of Revolution. I was not involved directly in it because I was too old to be in the trenches, if you want to put it that way. However, it was a necessary war to free the soon-to-be republic from tyranny. Consequently, when I became president, I did not agree to go to war on France’s side or enter that war because I preferred peace. Peace was first and foremost, even though France was very helpful to America during its fight against the British for its independence.
So I’ve had a lot of experience with war; what does it mean to be a child in conflict? What does it mean to have children who become fatherless? What does it mean to witness things in war and the suffering, especially of children, and then it makes no sense that we’re fighting over religion and whatever else because they’re just masks? So for me, that’s my obsession with war and especially the effects that war has on children.
Johnny Burke: It doesn’t seem like we, as a civilization, have learned our lessons about war. One of the first things I wanted to ask is going all the way back to Atlantis because I’ve always been curious about this: do you remember what type of weapons were used to wage the war between different factions or whoever was actually involved in the battle?
Winnifred Davis: What I remember, or in going back, what I saw were explosions, which would’ve been akin to what you might imagine a nuclear explosion, and then, of course, there were bombs. That’s what I can remember. I have not really delved into that aspect I suppose I will in the future, into, you know, like the weaponry and, and what have you. But there were bombs because of what I saw, you know, and the colors of those explosions.
Johnny Burke: Atlantis has a special place in our discussions and it’s going to be a marker for different discussions. I was always fascinated by that because the nuclear aspect and the technological aspect of that civilization come up a lot. There’s even, I believe an instance in a desert in India where researchers found this green glass that can only have been the product of nuclear fission or some kind of nuclear activity when there’s no history of any testing done in that area.
[Winnifred Davis: And then crystals would have been very important then as well. Very, very, very important. Yes.
Johnny Burke: The lasers apparently were made with crystals. That’s probably a discussion for another day, but I’ve always been curious. So you’ve had a lot of experience in war; it just seems to be repeating itself over and over again. No lessons seem to be learned. What are the things that you find that all of these incidents have in common?
Winnifred Davis: In terms of war? I believe, and as given by my guides, war, and as Cayce and others have said, it’s just always that basic struggle between affinity for the material, and those of the spirit. And what we have is a cravenness for power. And what I refer to, in part one, the Lucifer Syndrome, that’s all it’s all about. No matter what mask we use, whether it be religion, political persuasion, or language, it is always the cravenness for power.
Johnny Burke: All right.
Winnifred Davis: And so when will war end? War will end when each one of us eventually restores our soul so that we will recognize and know we are spiritual beings experiencing human life. We are here to expiate, advance, and restore our souls. So we can go back on the original journey, whatever that was. And that’s for another discussion. Then that’s when war will end, when each entity, each soul has restored that soul, that’s when more will end.
So we’ll always have wars, but can we mitigate them or reduce them? Yes, we can reduce the number of wars. It will never end, as I said, until such time when we learn to forgive. When we learn to forgive ourselves and others – unconditionally, that is . And when we also learn to love self and others and remember, doing unto others as we would have others do unto us. Love; I am my Brother’s Keeper. As long as we remember, we can help to reduce the number of wars. Because if you think about it when you have souls from the lower rung of the ladder of soul evolution who have tried to cheat karma, as we discussed before, and so they see a chance for them to come back and insert themselves into our historical grudges, prejudices, victimhood, and suffering. They insert themselves in those battles. If we learn to forgive, then they would have no space, no room to come back and claim their avenging, it’s in the memory of what your ancestors did to my ancestors.
Because when you look at each conflict, you’ll see for example, perpetrators becoming victims or people who have no skin in the game. Like for example, you will have perhaps people who are Jews now, who were Nazis in a past life. Or you can have Palestinians who were actually Jews or Nazis. So you have those. And when you consider that, where is your skin in that game? You have no skin in that game, so war has no descendant.
Johnny Burke: Question about the souls on the lower rung; you make it sound as if they’re in the spiritual realm, waiting for an event to insert themselves into, so they bring their grudges and their prejudices with them and their affinities for the material or their craving for power with them in the spiritual realm, and they wait to come back? That true?
Winnifred Davis: Yes, they don’t even bring their grudges with them; they’re just craving for power, and usually, they tend to come back when a society advances technologically and is comfortable. They tend to come back to avail themselves of the material comfort. They are the ones who believe that they can cheat karma, so they never reincarnate in their proper soul cycles. So they wait, and they wait. They have not had the chance and the experience to expiate their spiritual mistakes and, if we want to say, settle certain karmic debts so that they can learn enough. Eventually, they will, but it will take maybe eons. But then, in the spiritual world, time is not an element.
Johnny Burke: So they know when to come back. It’s almost as if they can see what’s going on here on Earth. Yeah. Okay. Good. That’s just one thing I wanted to clear up. Tell us about, speaking of souls, the children that have died in the wars that have come to you and others who are rescue souls like you are.
Winnifred Davis: Okay. Well, the children, in the past couple of years, came, and they were led by a little boy. He came in the
Johnny Burke: superhero suit.
Winnifred Davis: Superhero. He was leading these other children, who were wrapped in different flags. And we know that many wars are going on, especially a horrible war going on in the Sudan. I think it’s over 5 million who might be at risk, if not more, of famine and disease and displacement, which is just horrible. And the rapes and the massacres, burning villages, And the use of rape against children, men, women, the injuries. So here they are, so the different flags.
And you have the Rohingya, you have Myanmar, you have all these places, and it’s like there’s a war. It’s the war on children. And so they came; they needed help to get over to the other side, back into the spiritual realm.
Johnny Burke: To get to the light?
Winnifred Davis: To get to the light and, because they’re lost. You know, and when a bomb goes off and you know, one minute you’re playing. And the next minute, where am I? so they need help, and that’s part of my duty or task,
Johnny Burke: To help those souls.
Winnifred Davis: to help those. Children, along with my grandmother and others, the warriors of Pacific Persuasion and Justice, which are composed of the angels and archangels and the collective.
Johnny Burke: The collective, which we will talk about very shortly. Quick question about those souls that die a sudden and violent death: As you explained, you’re doing something one minute, then the next bomb goes off or something catastrophic, and you don’t know where you are. Is that fairly common?
Winnifred Davis: yes, that’s fairly common. You know where you’ll wander around, and, in our timeframe, some wander around for years if they have no guidance. Once death comes, we don’t feel any pain, right? So that in itself is some solace to know that once death begins to take hold, you don’t feel that pain. You don’t feel that pain as you’re transitioning from living
Johnny Burke: Will there be more rescue souls to help those souls that might be wandering for years?
Winnifred Davis: Of course, there are many rescue souls; there are some who are tasked with finding lost children,
Johnny Burke: good. All right.
Winnifred Davis: or children who’ve been stolen or what have you. There are some, you know, during wars and what have you. Yes.
Johnny Burke: I like that -the rescue souls. Very cool. Hopefully, some time in our civilization, there’ll be ads for people who want to train to rescue souls, or maybe they do that in the spiritual realm. You also mentioned the messages from the Warriors of Justice and the Pacific persuasion.
Winnifred Davis: Yes.
Johnny Burke: Tell us about that.
Winnifred Davis: I can’t say it as beautifully as they say it. So, if you don’t mind, I’ll read it quickly.
Johnny Burke: Sure. Go for it.
Winnifred Davis: Their message is that we know our creator is not a vengeful being, but a loving one. We know we can never fight on behalf of our creator, for our creator is omnipotent. We know it is the arrogance of fallen angels that we are to believe we can fight for our creator, that we know we were created equal as spirits with free will and a conscience to guide us. We know that each of us is responsible for our actions and the well-being of our souls and that we cannot pass the buck. We know that all of us in this earthly plane are fallen angels and that none is without blemish. We know we are spiritual beings experiencing human life. We know karma, the law of cause and effect, resulted from our spiritual mistakes when we strayed from our path, causing an imbalance in our souls. We know we are here in the earthly plane to expiate, advance, and restore our souls. We know our creator, our Father, has given us the vehicle that is reincarnation to restore our souls.
We know that we live many lives at different times in this earthly plane. We know that death facilitates the truth, which is reincarnation. We know that each of us, excluding none, shall succeed in restoring our soul. We know humility, redemptive guilt, unconditional forgiveness, and love of self, and our brothers will shorten the arduous and circuitous journey back to our destiny.
May we never try to flee our conscience so that we will always do the right thing. May we learn to walk a mile in our brothers’ shoes so that we can see the humanity in each other. May we respect each other’s differences and know that our creator has no chosen few. May we find comfort in the knowledge that each of us is slated for redemption, and none is excluded.
May we find solace in the knowledge that it is not a question of if, but one of when each of us shall return to our father. May we know that we are just tenants on this earth and take care of each other, the earth and all the creatures that dwell thereon. May we always adhere to the principles of the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man doing unto others as we would have them do unto us: love. May we know what I do unto my brother, I do unto myself for I am my brother’s keeper. May the tiny shrouds of light forever illuminate our path through the darkness. May peace forever reside within us and between us. One divine universal love and that’s their message as they gave it to me.
Johnny Burke: That’s coming from the collective?
Winnifred Davis: That’s coming from the warriors of persuasion and justice,
Johnny Burke: Which is part of the collective. Right. Okay. Before I forget, one of the lessons for today, a practical one for anybody who’s listening or watching, there are no chosen few, which means speaking of masks, which you talk about a lot. Political figures who like to compare themselves to Jesus, and you know who you are, you’re a fake. Do you agree? Yeah. Okay, good. I don’t want to go too far down that rabbit hole, but
Winnifred Davis: No, not at all.
Johnny Burke: That needed to be said.
Winnifred Davis: One thing we could say is that we tend to add religion when we are dealing with politics to rile up more, add more power to whatever our beliefs are, and to say, yes, this is divine. And so what I speak is truth. There are no chosen few.
Johnny Burke: Anything but -there are no chosen few.
Winnifred Davis: No Chosen few.
Johnny Burke: This brings up another thing about where we are today. In 2024, you talk about how the world is going through a once-in-a-millennia transition. What exactly is that and what do we need to know?
Winnifred Davis: Okay, once in millennia, and of course, that’s the Latin plural for a millennium, which is a thousand years. So once in many thousands, thousands of years, the world goes into cycles. And so we are at the end. How long does one cycle last? I can’t say using our timeframe.
Johnny Burke: Heard it was 12,000 years. This is in the episode right before you.
Winnifred Davis: Oh, okay. Well, I’m not privy to that at this time. So it goes through cycles, and what we have is from what I’ve been given is that we started as civilized. Now, what is civilized? Civilization has nothing to do with technological advancement because you could be as technologically advanced as so many countries are now, but you have no civilization. It’s like greatness without civilization; there’s no humanity. Civilization is how we treat each other, our humanity to each other, and the people who are less fortunate in our society that involves civilization.
So once in a millennium means we started as civilized, and we devolved into uncivilized. And if we check and if we are to believe in our advent on earth, we came here as spiritual beings, you know, in full cognizance of who we are with the ability, to be above the forces that we have on earth. You know, you have things like telepathy. Once we got involved in the processes on earth, some of us became trapped, and then we became prisoners of our senses. The prisoners of sense of sight, of hearing, of taste, of smell, of feeling. So there you devolve. So that’s what’s happening. So you go from civilized, and we devolve. Then we have entered a period of transition where we are now returning to being civilized.
Meaning that we will know, more of us will know who we are- spiritual beings on earth, experiencing human life. More of us will have more love and forgiveness in our hearts. We will follow and listen to our consciences more. We will be able to do things that, spiritually, we were able to do when we first came on Earth. Telepathy, for example, is more conscious of the spiritual realm and understanding it. So that’s where we are entering now. So what we have going on now is this massive fighting. It just seems as if you’re pulled, like the forces of darkness and light. At the moment, it seems as if the forces of darkness are winning.
Johnny Burke: It does.
Winnifred Davis: So it is just like going back to Atlantis when they just went downhill, and that’s where most of us incurred much of our karmic debt.
Johnny Burke: Really?
Winnifred Davis: Yes.
Johnny Burke: You mentioned this before, how the struggles of Atlantis are actually playing out on a large scale now. And you also mentioned something about telepathy, which apparently, and I’ve heard this many, many times, people that have past life memories like you do, of the ancient civilizations like Atlantis and Lemuria, things like psychic ability, telepathy, were normal -everybody could do it. And what you’re saying now is that we’re moving back into a time when we will eventually be able to do that, among other things?
Winnifred Davis: Yes, that’s exactly what’s going on now. And, something of solace, the darkness will eventually recede, and the light will come back.
Johnny Burke: Bring on the light.
Winnifred Davis: As I say, it’s like having a sore or a wound and it will, scab over, but then it needs cleaning out.
Johnny Burke: Yeah.
Winnifred Davis: So you have to debride it. And so once you debride it, it will begin to heal properly. So that’s basically what’s going on. Also, it’s it just seems like, oh my God, how do we get out of all this muck in the world, and it’s like we are left in this ship and here, no one to guide or captain this ship and no shepherd to guide the flock of sheep. And, we see those pretenders and these latest wars are sort of like the dividing line. It’s like they came to expose the pretenders to what I call the throne of virtue.
Johnny Burke: Okay. Pretenders. Yeah. There you go.
Winnifred Davis: Yes, pretenders. And people that we see like, they were champions of human rights. Like most of our leaders in the West, we are champions of human rights. And they’re on the moral high ground, or so they believe, but it was all selective, as we see with the war in the Middle East, it was all selective. Some of us know that, but there are many, especially young people now, who are the future. They are the light, most of them. And they’re seeing this, and it’s like they’re lost. So it’s like there’s no one to stand up for justice, true justice.
So it’s sort of like letting the wheat and the tares grow until the time of harvest, and this is the harvest and the smoke blown away from the mirror. And so some of those children, it’s very difficult to say, but it is what it is. Some of them had just come in their brief time on earth, and this was their sacrifice. This is the mission that they decided in the spiritual world to come back and, yes, to become those shrouds of light, to illuminate the mirror, and to separate the wheat from the taresand to let us know you cannot look necessarily to others to guide your soul or to tell you., you have to listen to your own conscience. You are responsible for the well-being of your soul, not others.
Johnny Burke: Okay, this reminds me of something else. You believe when Tolkien described an army of the dead that helped in the Great War in middle Earth, your position is he wasn’t writing fiction. Can you explain that to us?
Winnifred Davis: No, maybe he might have thought he was writing fiction and maybe not. Yes, it does happen. And I’m going to just cite an example if it were if it is indeed true, and that is the example of the Abyssinian army in the sixth century that went into Mecca and was repulsed by birds. I do believe they say birds were throwing stones from the sky at them. So if it is to be believed, we have to query further, but in general, when you see the David and Goliath story, you know, when you see where the underdog just overcomes the super dog, it is very difficult to explain. That is when you know that the spiritual realm intercedes and puts a stop to it.
Johnny Burke: So you’ve actually experienced that in some of your past lives where you’ve seen instances?
Winnifred Davis: Yes. And even on a smaller scale, this I know from my work as a shaman. When you have egregious actions like someone who is very mean and nasty, unfair, causing suffering, sometimes spirits, they intercede, and they will indeed remove without prompting that individual who is causing needless grief and suffering to one who is undeserving,
Johnny Burke: Which means they call someone to be killed?
Winnifred Davis: Well, no, they’ll just, you know, it’s time to say goodbye to the world, so to speak.
Johnny Burke: Well, that’s death, isn’t it?
Winnifred Davis: It is.It could be death, could be sickness, or what have you. And these things do happen without prompting. So you can grieve those who have passed on and that’s the only way to get some justice there. That’s sort of like a defensive type of war, right?
[00:34:16] Johnny Burke: Most souls, you believe the time of our death is preordained. Some, for some people, there’s one point; in some, there are several. How did you discover that?
Winnifred Davis: My work as a shaman and clarity from the soul. The messages that I’m given by the keepers of the secret and the rest of the collective. For most people, when you die, that’s preordained. For some people, it is not. Death is determined normally. The length of our lives, so to speak, is determined by our karmic journey. Or the karmic journeys that we have decided in a given lifetime to undertake. And so once we finish that or those karmic journeys, then we expire.
Sometimes, the decisions that we make will determine whether we depart sooner or later. For example, you might have someone living, let’s say, in a poor neighborhood. You can choose to live a life of crime or the opposite. If you choose the life of crime, the chances are you’re going to have an early death. Whereas if you don’t, you might have a longer life. So there you have a decision, okay, as to whether you are going to depart early or later.
Some people have four different departure dates, for example, but there is a final one because, number one, the body cannot live forever, right? Then you have, for example, babies sometimes die early or stillbirth; maybe the body that we get to inhabit was imperfect, and so it could not sustain itself, and so that’s it. But there is a final departure date, even if you have different departure gates. There is a final one, the absolute final one. And mostly, the body will not live forever.
Johnny Burke: Right. But we wind up coming back again and again. It sounds like what you just described is almost like a spiritual airport terminal.
Winnifred Davis: Yes.
Johnny Burke: I couldn’t possibly add anything to that, so I think we will conclude the discussion today. Winifred, thanks again for coming back. Great information. In the meantime, can you remind us how our listeners can find you online?
Winnifred Davis: Okay, my website is www.naazimzinc.com.
